The Vuzix LX1 software is based on the Android 15 operating system, powered by an 8-core Qualcomm 2.4 GHz processor and 6 GB of RAM. Importantly, the device will receive annual OS upgrades. Outstanding visuals are delivered by a crisp HD OLED display paired with a precise 4K camera.
The glasses feature a bone-conduction microphone for optimal voice recognition in very noisy work environments, along with an enhanced microphone array for two-way communication and voice-activated scanning. The equipment is powered by a high-capacity 700 mAh battery (providing up to 10 hours of operation). Fast connectivity and telemetry in this AR device are handled by built-in Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC (tap-to-pair), an integrated barcode scanner, as well as a 3-axis gyroscope, an accelerometer, and a digital compass.
